A Science Fiction short story by Rich Larson. An image of the title and author as displayed on the publishing site, Clarkesworld Magazine.

“All Electric Ghosts” by Rich Larson, and published in issue 157 of Clarkesworld Magazine, was an interesting urban sci-fi short story at just over 5 thousand words. The story was easy to follow and covers themes of loss and letting go coupled with addiction and touches upon co-dependency. With modern day drug culture and a splash of PETA there is an emerging presence of alien lifeforms and the story follows the main character through a heist of sorts as he deals with the withdrawals of his addiction. It was an okay read but nothing groundbreaking, yet the drive of the main character is believable enough.
